Dr. Scot Thurman is a well-educated and knowledgeable Thought Leader in Business Consulting and Nonprofit Leadership. He spent the first third of his career working in the legal departments of Fortune 100 companies, and the remaining two-thirds in ministry, higher education, and nonprofit leadership. Dr. Thurman earned a Juris Doctor, a Master’s degree in seminary studies, and a PhD in Community Psychology. He held leadership roles in the nonprofit sector, including director and executive positions. During that time, Dr. Thurman taught various subjects, including business law, leadership, ethics, religion, and philosophy, at local colleges and universities. His business focus includes business consulting related to startups, nonprofit leadership, and leadership coaching.
